Gifts for the Guys

Maybe it’s just me, but it is always the most difficult for me to buy gifts for the guys! Weddings are no exception to this. Here are a few suggestions for the men involved with your special day.

1.     Groom: The MOST important one, right?! This one is always fun, though! What does he like? What’s a sweet, sentiment gift you can give him? This tends to be a splurge. A nice watch (that matches his shoes that he’s wearing on the day of the wedding!), an engraved Bible to remind him of the foundation of marriage, or nice engraved cuff links are all good ideas. Of course, make it yours! Make sure to attach a sweet note to it to let him know how excited you are to spend together forever.

2.     Best Man/Groomsmen: Typically, this is up to your groom, but if he needs some help, we have a few good suggestions! Cigars can be a good gift. An engraved bottle opener, or even the budget allows it, a commuter bag for a guys’ trip are also good options. If this isn’t really the style you’re going for, coordinating sock and ties are always fun!

3.     Father of the Bride/Groom: You can NEVER go wrong with something sentimental. A personalized thank-you handkerchief, a keychain with a childhood picture, or portrait on oak panel are all good ideas. As per usual, make sure you attach a note with it (maybe you should just invest in stationary at this point?).

There’s no cut and dry gift guide, but we hope this helps give you a good idea of what to look for! Take into consideration what he likes to do and go off of that. Happy wedding planning!
